HTC has recently launched one of the most expensive smartphones in India --- the HTC Butterfly handset, which will be available to the interested buyers with a staggering retail price-tag of Rs 45,990.

The sturdy 140-gram HTC Butterfly will run the Android OS 4.1 `Jelly Bean' version; and some of its most impressive features will include a 5-inch full HD 1080-pixel Corning Gorilla Glass 2 screen with a resolution of 440 pixels per inch; a 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad-core processor; the HTC Sense 4+ User Interface; and Beats Audio technology.

U.S. Customs review clears all HTC shipments

Taiwanese handset maker announced on Wednesday that U. S. Customs cleared shipments of all of its latest smartphones models that had been blocked for a review required by the International Trade Commission (ITC).

In a filing with Taiwan Stock Exchange, HTC said that all of the devices in question were found to be in compliance with an ITC ruling, and that it expected shipments to continue in future.

The manufacturer said in a statement, “Future shipments should continue to enter the U. S. and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products.”

US carrier T-Mobile has confirmed that HTC's One S smartphone, formerly called the HTC Ville, will available from 25th of April.

To be available for $199.99 with a service contract, the HTC Ville runs Google's Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and features 4.3-inch qHD 960 x 540 Super AMOLED display.

Handset maker, HTC has enhanced the features of its Smartphone Droid Incredible through an update and made it more appealing to the mobile users.

The updates were part of a recent firmware update. The device will now support HD (720p) video recording and new boot animation. The over-the-air update also offers access to mobile hot spot to its customers.
