HCL Infosystems is said to have paid three interim dividends aggregating to Rs. 5.50 per share, this year along with a final dividend of Rs. 2 per share.

A marginal increase of 1.01% has been seen in its consolidated net profit at Rs. 242.38 crore in comparison to the Rs. 239.95 crore in the previous fiscal. The income from operations last year, which hovered somewhere around Rs. 12, 252.41 crore has now reached Rs. 12, 049.82 crore. This was for the year ended 30 June.

The IT firm HCL Info systems expressed that it has obtained a 60 per cent bet in the Dubai-based IT services group, NTS for a $6.5 million offer.

As per the HCL Info systems Executive Vice-President George Paul they have attained the 60 per cent stake in NTS for $6.5 million. For the India based group it is a move that shall help them stretch their footsteps in the global domain and harness the Middle East and African markets.

NTS offers computer hardware, enterprise software mix, infrastructure and networking mix, e-security mix and web development services.

HCL receives smart card project from Chandigarh UT

HCL Infosystems has said that it received a contract from the authorities of the union territory of Chandigarh for a smart card based Public Distribution System (PDS) project.

The project involves distribution of ration cards to families living below poverty line by using smart cards. The smart cards are to include biometric, tax, demographic and personal information of the citizens for proper distribution of ration cards and other benefits.

HCL launches improved Beanstalk desktops

PC maker, HCL Infosystems has announced the launch of improved Beanstalk series desktops in the country to target PC segment in the country. The series was first launched in 1995.

The desktop range is prices at the range of Rs39,990 to Rs85,000 and the company is offering three-year warranty along with free access to McAfee Antivirus. The range includes three models Beanstalk Classic, Ultima and Xtreme providing enhanced audio visual experience.

HCL Infosystems bags order worth Rs 240 crore; Scrip Soars 8%

HCLSystem integration and distribution company HCL Infosystems has informed that it has bagged an order worth Rs 240 crore from BSNL.

Under the contract, the company will roll out over 60,000 ERP Licenses including configuration, business process reengineering, hardware, networking, operations & maintenance customization.

Apart from this, the company will provide training to BSNL employees and offer program management service for seven years.
