Godawari Power inks MoU with Chhattisgarh Government

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited, one of leading sponge iron manufacturer, has informed that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Chhattisgarh for setting-up a cement plant at an estimated cost of Rs 628 crore.  

Under the agreement, the company would set up the plant, which would produce two million tons of cement per annum and one million ton of clinker. Besides, it would also develop a power plant with 50 MW capacity.

Godawari Power to spend Rs 280 crore on expansion and acquisition

Sponge iron maker Godawari Power & Ispat, plans to invest Rs 280 crore over the next two years to expand capacity and acquire a majority stake in an iron ore pelletisation plant.

The company would invest Rs 235 crore in an iron ore pelletisation, benefication, and crushing plant.
