GE Shipping to sell its handy size bulk carrier “Jag Vikas”

India’s largest private shipping company Great Eastern Shipping has announced that the company has entered into a contract to sell its handy size dry bulk carrier 'Jag Vikas'.

The company’s decision to sell the ship was guided by the age and valuation of the ship.

The ship is scheduled to be delivered to the buyers during the first quarter of financial year 2008-09.

Earlier this month, the company has announced that its Panamax crude tanker Jag Anjali had been contracted for sale in Jan 2008 and the vessel has been delivered to its buyers.
