Show-cause notice to Gammon Infra from DMRC

DMRCThe Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday announced that it would serve a show cause notice to Gammon India, the contractor working at Zamrudpur accident site, asking why it should not be blacklisted from contracting the metro projects for 2 years.

It mentioned lack in design and quality of material for the cause for the July 12 mishap that claimed 6 lives.

Gammon Infrastructure bags LoA worth Rs 800 crore; stock surges 10%

Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited, a part of Gammon India Ltd, has received a letter of allotment worth Rs 800 crore from Andhra Pradesh Government for a project on BOT basis.

The scope of work involves designing, constructing, financing, operating and maintaining of project, which is spread across the river Godavari connecting Rajahmundry and Kovvur in Andhra Pradesh.

The company will receive a total grant of Rs 208 crore from the Central & State Government during the construction and operation period of the project.

Gammon Infra receives order worth Rs 800 crore

Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited (GIPL), one of the leading infrastructure developers, has bagged an order worth Rs 800 crore from AP government.

Under the deal, the company will design, construct, finance, operate and maintain a major bridge across the river Godavari connecting Rajahmundry and Kovvur in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the sources, the central and state government will give financial support of Rs 2.07 billion to the company during the construction and operation period of the project.
