Prudential chairman to resign, as signaled by Fidelity

A wake up call sent to the Prudential's board of directors could go sturdy by this week as the firm gets in touch with their leading shareholders in the lieu of aborted bid for AIA.

The Fidelity International group is all set to meet the Prudential chairman, Harvey McGrath, today amidst some of the important meetings running for the week amongst the main board directors and shareholders.

The Investors have advised Mr. McGrath and Tidjane Thiam, the chief executive, to resign due to the $35.5bn bid, AIA in Asia, which took more than £400m.
