The contract has been awarded for designing, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supplying, erectioning and commissioning of material handling and other equipments.

Elecon Engineering bags various orders worth Rs 51.74 crore

Gujarat-based Elecon Engineering Company has informed that the company has secured three orders from reputed clients, valued at Rs 51.74 crore.

The scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supplying, erecting and commissioning of material handling and other equipments.

The company has picked first the order worth Rs 15.50 crore from Techpro Systems, Chennai, under which it will supply one stacker bucket, one bucket wheel reclaimer and one lot drives for SAIL-RMD-BOLANI Iron Ore mines project.

Elecon Engineering to spend up to Rs 400 crore for overseas acquisition

Gujarat-based Elecon Engineering Company Limited is scouting for inorganic growth opportunities in the windmill gearbox manufacturing segment overseas.

The company is looking for an acquisition either in the US or Europe in the range of Rs. 300-400 crore. The proposed buyout will be funded through debt and equity dilution.

Elecon Engineering wins order worth Rs. 47 Crore

Elecon Engineering Limited said that the company has been awarded an order of Rs. 47 Crore from Sical Iron Ore Terminals, Chennai.

The order is for supply and erection of various equipments for Ennore Terminals Iron Ore Project. The equipments that the company will be supplying are wagon tippler & side arm charger, stacker reclaimer, stacker and ship loader.

Elecon Engineering engages in the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, and commission of material handling equipment in India. The company was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Vallabh Vidyanagar, India.

Elecon Engineering Bags Order Worth Rs. 11 crore, Stock gains 10%

India`s leading material handling equipments maker Elecon Engineering has announced that the company has won order worth Rs. 11 crore from Sichaon Electricity Power & Consulting Company for supply of wagon Trippler along with associated equipments.

Recently, the company had also bagged Rs. 61.50 crore order from Tecpro System Ltd, Chennai for supply of CHP Equipments.

The scrip of the company gains 10 per cent to Rs 220 at the close of Monday's trading with over 402,260 shares changing hands on the NSE.

Elecon Engineering Co Ltd has has received combined orders valued at Rs 15.74 crore for supplying crushers and wagon tipplers to several cement manufacturers.

On Jan 9, 2008, Elecon Engineering Company Ltd has informed the BSE that the company’s board at its meeting held on January 02, 2008 has assigned 90,560 Equity Shares of Rs 2 each fully paid up to Credit Suisse (Singapore) Ltd on conversion of 100 Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds of US $ 1,000 each aggregating to US $ 0.1 mn.
