Educomp Solutions to setup budget schools across country

Educomp Solutions LtdLeading education company, Educomp Solutions Ltd, has revealed its plans for setting up budget schools in small towns across India. The budget schools, called Vidya Prabhat Schools, will have CBSE affiliation and will follow NCERT curriculum.

The company expects to set up five Vidya Prabhat Schools by July 2009, which would come up at various locations in north India including Bazpur, Kashipur, Bahl Parav and Gadarpur in Uttrakhand.

The order, which the company received from Uttar Pradesh, has tenure of 5 years and for supplying computer hardware, software, connected accessories in 1,401 schools in Lucknow, Meerut, Jhansi and Gorakhpur.

Educomp Solutions acquires Takshila Management Services

Educomp Solutions, a leading internationally diversified education solutions provider has informed that the company has acquired 51 percent stake for an unrevealed amount in Takshila Management Services.

Takshila Management Services Company participates in building high quality schools in Tier II and Tier III cities across India.

According to the sources, Takshila Management Services proposes to build three schools in Hoshiarpur (Punjab), Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) and Gaya (Bihar) to be ready for the coming academic fiscal by June 2009.

Educomp bags Rs 109 crore order from Karnataka

Educomp Solutions has revealed that the company has bagged an order worth Rs 109 crore from Karnataka government to offer computer-aided education in 1,571 schools. 

Educomp, which has inked an agreement with the Department of State Education Research & Training, Karnataka, will carry out it over period of five years.

Educomp has further disclosed that it has signed an agreement with the Government of Chattisgarh for imparting Computer aided education in 52 hostels.

Educomp Solution enters strategic partnership with EuroKids

Educomp Solutions Ltd., a globally diversified education solutions provider and the largest education company in India, has entered into a 50:50 strategic partnership with EuroKids International Private Limited, a specialist in pre-school education.

The pact includes the purchase of existing company shares as well as an infusion of additional capital into EuroKids for future development.

The agreement also has a provision for ESL to raise its stake in phases to 74% over a period of time.

Ansal API, Educomp Enters Pact For Building Schools

Realty developer Ansal Properties and Infrastructure (Ansal API) has signed up a deal with Educomp solutions Ltd to establish schools in Ansals16 integrated townships.

The deal entails an investment of about Rs 250 crore over the next 3-4 years.

As per the deal, Knowledge Tree Infrastructure (KTIL), a division of Ansal API, will build the schools, and lease them to Educomp Infrastructure, a division of Educomp for 60 years. The affiliation between Educomp and Ansal will be based on a fixed lease rental and revenue-sharing basis.
