Genpact bags a five-year contract from Carnation

Business process outsourcing firm Genpact recently announced that the company has bagged a five year contract from the multi-sales & service company, Carnation Auto.

While both the parties declined to divulge any financial details about the deal, but according to the terms settles, Genpact will be taking care of activities like finance and accounting, customer relationship management, procurement and supply chain management and human resources.

Carnation to begin its spare parts venture

According to the recent news reports, Carnation Auto, the multi-brand car service initiative by ex-Maruti Suzuki boss Jagdish Khattar will soon start its spare parts business in the Indian market. Khattar recently said that the company will be opening its spare parts business by the year-end in partnership with Italy's Magneti Marelli.

It may be noted here that the company had entered into a strategic alliance with Fiat Group's auto component major Magneti Marelli for servicing premium cars and aftermarket spare parts venture in the Indian market.
