Caja Madrid to form System of Institutional Protection

Caja Madrid, Spain’s laegest savings bank is using the time spent in sectoral reconstruction to return the economy for it to achieve economic growth. The company was formerly run by the Internationl Monetary Fund Director Rodrigo Rato. Former Economy Minister, Rato said that the company is working to get Bancaja their rival, into the System of Institutional Protection.

Valencia’s Bancaja will be one of the companies contributing over 110 billion euros for the SIP which Caja Madrid has set into different saving banks to form a new group with 335 billion euros in assets.
