Bosch Eyes Chennai for Business Investment

It seems that the Europe's biggest home appliances manufacturer BSH Bosch has eyed profit in Indian market, as it has approached the state government of Chennai to allocate them 42 acres of land to develop a unit to manufacture home appliances, including refrigerators and air-conditioners etc.

Deciphering the modalities of the proposal made by BSH Bosch in collaboration with the Siemens Group, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa publically handed over the letter of allotment of land to the zonal manager of the Company, VK Viswanathan, on Friday.

BoschBosch to suspend operations at three plants Ltd, a leading auto parts manufacturer has made announcement that the company plans to temporarily close down its operations at three manufacturing units across India to avoid inventory build up.

According to sources, the conglomerate would stop making of starters and generators at its Naganathapura plant between Jan. 10 and Jan. 31.
