ANZ May Consider KEB Takeover

Larry Klane

Chief Executive of Korea Exchange Bank, Larry Klane, said that ANZ Bank is interested in the choosing KEB for the pan-Asian strategy.

KEB stakeholder Lone Star Funds is planning to remove its 51% stake from the bank. Klane said that the bank seems to be interested in opting for KEB.

He further said that ANZ is well placed in Australia under an ever-growing performance record. This ensures that it is likely to find KEB as the most suitable option.
