Alfa Laval India, a global provider of specialized products and engineered solutions, has secured an order worth 65 crore from PetroVietnam Group of Vietnam.
The scope of work includes supply of equipment and engineering solutions for their (Petro Vietnam) proposed process plant, which is being set up at central Vietnam to produce fuel ethanol. The plant is expected to go on stream by early 2011.
The delivery of equipment and solution is scheduled by 2010.
Alfa Laval, a global leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling, has informed that the company has bagged a contract for three thermal evaporation systems from Vedanta Aluminum Ltd- a part of the London- listed metals and mining group for their expansion project in India.
According to the sources, the proposed order entails an investment of Rs. 102 crore or SEK 150 million.Delivery is scheduled for 2009.
