The operators who got succeeded in the bid for broadband wireless access auction (BWA) earlier had received on Wednesday the broadband spectrum from the government.

Foreign players like Qualcomm and Augere have to complete the formalities as per the Foreign Investment Promotion Board before being allowed to use the spectrum.

75 paise for the first minute and 50 paise from the second minute.

Aircel to launch BlackBerry services in India

Aircel, leading telecom operator has informed that it has collaborated with Canada's Research In Motion (RIM).

As per sources, the company (Aircel) has entered into a partnership with the aim to introduce BlackBerry services for its customers in India.

In a communiqué, the company stated that for offering BlackBerry services to the customers in major cities, Aircel will leverage its local presence and Redington's retail distribution channel.
