Panasonic’s 3D TV released
The Japanese MNC, makers of the popular Viera HDTV line has launched its 3D TVs. The same shall go for sale in US later during the week.
This technological marvel - VT25 plasma HDTV would be made available with Best Buy as a joint promotional effort from Wednesday.
Scheduled to be launched at Best Buy's Union Square store's venue in New York City, the retailer also plans to have demo units at hundreds of stores across the country, reports Engadget.
In addition to the reports, a 50-inch 3D set (which includes Blu-Ray player and 3D glasses), will cost around 2,500 USD which is 2,000 USD lesser than what it does in Japan.
Low price range is in line with the strategy to cross the 1 million mark in sales. As the current trends suggests, there is a continuous advancement in levels of theatrical release which are being cast in 3D platforms and thus might help in lifting the market.
While Panasonic has lately shown good results, it has been finding rising rival competition in the consumer electronics market. It is targeting mostly the US market, since that is the key market for the company.
