HTC launches its new windows Mobile, HD2 in India
HTC has finally made the availability of its much awaited flagship Windows handset, HD2 in India. HD 2 is believed to be the handset with the largest screen, with its 4.3 inches which is much bigger as compared to Omnia HD, having a 3.7 inch screen.
The new HD2 works on the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and is 3G enabled. Other than its 4.3 inches visual area touch screen, it also supports 480 × 800 pixel high-resolution and support for multi-touch functionality. The Phone comprises of Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 1 GH speed, 488 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM capacity.
With all these functions, HD 2 carries wireless network functionality and is capable os connecting to GSM, GPRS, WCDMA and HSDPA networks and wireless LAN. It helps the PC and laptops to connect through Wi-Fi wireless technology. The various sensors such as acceleration sensors, touch sensors, light-sensitive sensor increase the sensitivity of the phone. Its energy saving mode automatically turns off the screen when the battery is about to finish.
In the entertainment segment, the HTC HD 2 sports 3.5 mm headphone interface, support for 12 hours of music playback time and simpatico with a variety of audio and video format play. The users can save more documents in the phone, with its micro-SDHC memory card which can be further expandable.
The new phone enables the users to take high quality pictures with its built- in 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus function and dual LED flash and supports making of high definition video.
In addition to all these features, the windows version of the twitter application, HTC Peep enables the users to upload photographs from the built-in camera on Facebook or Twitter to be shared with others.
