Harley-Davidson will Open its HOG in India Soon

The leader of bike maker, Harley-Davidson, is planning to launch its Harley Owners Group (HOG) in India soon. The HOG will be a community marketing club for bike users and will be sponsored and run by Harley-Davidson.

The Marketing Director of Harley-Davidson, Mr. Sanjay Tripathi told PTI that the Company is preparing to open HOG in the month of October. He also said that anyone who will purchase the Harley bike will automatically become a part of HOG.

Harley Rock Riders have also started a platform for Indian rock musicians. They will go for a five-city musical tour with Split, in which star performers like Them Clones, Thermal and a Quarter, and Menwhopause will participate.

Mr. Sanjay said that Harley-Davidson’s association with rock music is long established and Harley Rock Riders is same as other International projects initiated by the Company.

On the other hand, Split members are preparing their five-song EP, which they will play in all venues where the concert will be held.

There are around 200 Harley bikes across the country and the Company’s first showroom was opened in Hyderabad, last year. The price of the bikes will be between Rs. 7 lakh and Rs. 35 lakh.

BMW introduces 3-Series Touring

Germany-based luxury car maker BMW recently took wraps off its fifth-generation 3 Series Touring, which is more spacious inside than ever before.

The all-new 2013 3 Series Touring sedan is longer than the predecessor by 97mm, and its height is 11mm more at 1429mm.

Its 50mm longer wheelbase than the previous Touring allows it to provide an extra 35 litres of storage with the rear seats up. With the seats folded down, the new vehicle promises 1500 litres of space in total.

The 2013 3 Series Touring will be available in a choice of three advanced, powerful, yet economic engines.

With Microsoft having recently made a Bing-related announcement, which underscored the company's plans to roll out an updated edition of its three-year-old Bing search engine, analysts are of the opinion that the planned boost to Bing's social networking features will apparently give a more competitive edge to Microsoft's search war with Internet search giant Google.
