Gold Touches Rs 26960 in Today’s Trade
Today, the gold prices have touched Rs 26,960, per 10 grams whereas the spot gold prices climbed by USD 3.70 to USD 1,792.70 an ounce in the Asian region. In addition, 99.9 and 99.5% pure gold is observed to advance by Rs
160 each to Rs 26,840 and Rs 26,720 per 10 grams respectively.
Market analysts notified that trading remained upbeat after gold gained hike for the fourth day in overseas markets to USD 1,795.85 an ounce. The market scenario is believed to have a strong influence from investors who wanted to protect their money against the possibility of a global slowdown amid deepening debt crisis in the US and Europe. During the last two trading sessions, the metal has gained Rs 580 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver also reported a hike of Rs 61,300 per kg on increased speculative buying supported by increased off take from industrial units. The silver ready lifted by Rs 600 to Rs 61,300 per kg whereas weekly-based delivery contributed Rs. 725 to Rs 60,770 per kg.
Simultaneously, silver coins followed suit and encouraged through Rs 1,500 to Rs 68,500 for buying along with Rs 69,500 for selling of 100 pieces.
