Indian has been a terrific investment and a growth centre for social gaming firm Zynga, Mark Pincus said on Wednesday.

Mr. Pincus, founder & chief executive officer of Zynga, also said that Indians wanted a really good challenge, and Zynga rose to take that challenge.

On his very first visit to India, Mr. Pincus said, "India has been a terrific investment and experience for us. People here want a really good challenge, and they rise to take that challenge."

Pacific Symphony orchestra said it was “thrilled” to collaborate with video games giant Blizzard Entertainment.

More than one hundred classically trained musicians from the renowned orchestra recorded soundtrack for Blizzard’s recently released role-playing game Diablo III at the Renée & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in July last year.

Pacific Symphony President John Forsyte said video games are one of the most remarkable sources of new symphonic scoring.

Blizzard delays Diablo 3 RMAH’s release by a week

Blizzard has postponed the release of Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House until the end of May.

The Real Money Auction House (RMAH), which will allow gamers to purchase and sell items like armor and weapons, was scheduled to be released on 22nd of May. But, now it will not be available until 29th of May.

Announcing its decision to delay the launch of the new system, Blizzard said, "We've decided to move out our target launch for the real-money auction house beyond our original estimated date of May 22. Our new estimated date for the launch of this new system is Tuesday, May 29."

Gaming giants Activision Blizzard Inc. and Electronic Arts (EA) Inc. agreed to settle a lawsuit over executives' leaving out of court on Wednesday.

Activision had accused EA of inappropriately recruiting two of its executives who had overseen the production of the hit video title "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."

Activision had claimed EA met secretly with its two executives, viz. Vincent Zampella and Jason West, while they were still working on "Modern Warfare" projects at Activision.

The Elder Scrolls Online is under development and will be released on PC and Mac platforms in 2013, Bethesda has confirmed.

The Elder Scrolls Online MMO is under development at Zenimax Online Studios, which claims that new game will be an unparalleled exploration of rich worlds that the franchise is known for.

Making the announcement, Zenimax Online Studios’ founder & director, Matt Firor, said, “The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”

Valve’s Steam service will soon be available on Lixus, Phoronix founder & Linux blogger Michael Larabel said.

So far, the only disadvantage of installing Linux over Windows operating system is the lack of support for several games, but that is going to change, according to Larabel. Linux’ rival platform, viz. Windows and Mac OS X, are already enjoying Steam’s support.

Valve has reportedly hired dedicated Linux developers to port the Steam client as well as the Source Game Engine to run natively on Linux.

Bioware has confirmed that it would roll out a long-awaited face import fix for Mass Effect 3.

Longstanding fans of Mass Effect series have been complaining about a bug that slays any Shepard created back in the original Mass Effect. While some opted for either the male or female default model, many others are waiting for a fix.

The developer yesterday promised that it would release a fix to eliminate the bug, alongside a free multiplayer Resurgence Pack that would bring new characters, weapons and maps.
