Customers of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) are reported to owe around Rs. 20, 000 crore in pending payments to the state run company.
It was reported that the company had a total outstanding of Rs. 40, 000 crore. However, 50% of the dues are not still matured for payments because of their connections with the project targets. It is considered as the largest power generation equipment manufacturer of India.
